Watching this makes me yearn For Spring & Summer. I was out in my garden today just planting & transplanting my perennials & shrubs. I had a fab time!

I have a Rose of Sheron blue and it’s beautiful and full of flowers right now! I love your garden💚 This year I forgot what was in some of my pots and I DID have many surprises 😂. I had an idea to tag each pot before the end of this summer so I can either plant it in the garden or keep it in the pot. Fun video and I can’t wait for Photo Friday👏🏼💚🌹

The blue rose of Sharon are soo beautiful! Wish we had room. You are so lucky it’s a stunner! It’s so funny to walk around and see those gardens surprises for sure 😂. Photo Friday! So glad you enjoy it! 🙏💐💚

I have always hesitated abt growing roses in pots! Always felt like they would not be happy in pots! You have lots of buds on the hibiscus, can't believe it's been here for 2 years only!

Hello! Roses are definitely much happier in the ground. It’s a little more work to keep them happy in containers. The hibiscus exploded in blooms! Wish we would of waited to do video. Still going! 🌸 And we are waiting on the younger hibiscus to bloom. They make us want to fill our forever home in the future with these beautiful plants. 🙏💐💚

Do you guys have wild hibiscus growing in ditches.? Not sure that where you are is far enough in the countryside for that. Here on the shore in Maryland, I haven't seen as many as we have this yr. When I was a kid, my mom would dig them up and plant them along our shoreline, there's even an abundance of pale pink this summer. With what's blooming there now, looking forward to Friday's photos.

Pre-order season is almost there in the USA for David Austin roses, how about your Lady Emma Hamilton, could you please share with us its overall performance, such as its health, mature sizes, the repeat power and how many hours the sun it needed, thanks in advance.

My Hardy hibiscus has been heavily damaged by insects. The leaves look like beetles or some other insect has attacked. What did you spray.
@GardenObsessions2 жыл бұрын
We have a younger hibiscus and got attacked by Japanese beetles that’s probably what got yours also thrips love the hibiscus blooms. We spray IV Organics to protect all the garden. Younger plants always are first to get attacked because of their tender fresh growth. 💚

May I ask what you guys' opinion between Quick Fire & Pinky Winky. Thank you 😍🙏🙏🙏
@GardenObsessions2 жыл бұрын
They are both beautiful and still till this day both favorites! Pinky Winky has more lighter color bottom turns pink and continues to bloom on top white it’s actually my favorite hydrangea cut flower. The flowers are so elegant like. Quick Fire has dreamy blooms so wispy when they first bloom out in white and then completely turn red such beautiful flowers that cover the whole bush! But seem a little smaller than Pinky Winky. Their stems on both varieties have also always seemed stronger than other panicle hydrangeas. They are both beautiful! 💚

@@GardenObsessions thank you very much. It's hard to choose. They are so beautiful. Growing up in the West Coast of Canada (Pacific Northwest Washington) area, I used to love macrophyllas. Well at the time I didn't know what they called 🤣🤣😂. Now I'm learning towards panicle hydrangea more. You guys make it look so easy to grow and maintain. 😂😂

It is hard to choose! They are all beautiful! We grew those two you mentioned but when we moved here we had no room for them. Panicles will grow beautiful in your area! The farther north and cooler evening temperatures towards end of summer and fall means more color in panicle hydrangeas! The more south of US they need to be babied more shade and don’t get to see to much color. We live in zone 7b I call it the perfect zone! We still get some color and can be planted in full sun. I hope you can add both! There is also one called Little Quickfire a dwarf variety so maybe you can still add both. 💚

@@GardenObsessions this year and last year it has been unusually hot and dry for us in late June and whole July. We finally have rain this evening. This year we even have snow in May 🤦♀️🤷. Where I live it's 30 minutes drive to Bellingham Washington and about 3 hours North of Seattle WA. My macrophyllas are not doing so great. The leaves are on the crunchy side 🤦♀️. The blushing bride suffered the most besides crunchy leaves, they also turned orangey red. Let's hope for better weather next year. 😁
