I really like the gold rush, I far prefer it over a normal whiskey sour. Once, I was out of honey, but I had maple syrup. The end result was phenomenal! I've also, on rare occasion, used a drop or two of worcestershire or soy sauce to balance out a drink.

Looking forward to the new book 😁 Chucking a little bit of Marmite in a cocktail gives a great bittering effect and yeasty taste (works great with agave spirits)... Use sparingly, results may vary 😂
