Yes the color of the kislux is beautiful and it is a great decision, maybe one day they will add feet and straps. It would be nice to have a bigger bag during the colder months when we have to store gloves, beanies, scarves, etc…

The A7IV isn’t crop sensor. It only crops in, when you shoot 4K 60p. It’s cleaner than the fx30 in terms of noise too.

Yeah I forgot to mention that it’s only got a 1.5 crop at 60p😂 But yeah I totally agree. The colors are pretty phenomenal too. Definitely gonna continue using it as my main for now🤙🏻

The crop can stink on the a7iv but since it’s 6K downsampled to 4K even the 1.5x crop is super crisp

Very affordable is still very expensive for a newcomer to all of this:/ What would you suggest for a newbie? What camera? What lenses?

Right there with you! I’ve been making purchases for this list of gear and adding to it for the past 3 years. If you’re looking to purchase a new camera, the mirrorless bodies with cropped sensors do just fine like the A7IV work great for the quality. It is $2500, but is about half the price of a full frame body like the A7Siii. I would say the middle ground would be the FX30 if you want high quality and affordable. You can get that for about $1,700. Overall brand I’ve stuck with is Sony for getting cinematic shots and good colors. Any of the Sigma or Tamron lenses work great as they’re more affordable than the name brands like Sony G-Masters. I’d go with 50mm if you’re looking for a prime lens. If you want a zoom lense, I’d go with a 28-200!

Why is your main the Sony a7 IV why not FX30 or a7s iii? You should also put in the desccription what you use for references. As I myself seen youtubers put it on which is great. Great video overall!

I’ve been thinking a lot about switching to the FX30 as my main, but I’ve just been shooting with the A7IV for about 3 years now. I think because I can shoot 4k 60fps without getting that 1.5 crop is really nice for the price of the camera. For now I’m using the FX30 as a B cam and A7III as a C cam!

@@TravelWithMiftah Tamron 28-200! It’s a 2.8-5.6. Looking to possibly upgrade to a 24-70 and 35-150 2-2.8. Sometimes I’ll slap on a Sony 50mm 1.8

Love to hear it! Honestly FPV can be used for anything in my opinion!😂 I’ve seen it used in some insane highlight/hype films and it just brings a whole new experience to it. Obviously it would depend on the type of vibe you’re going for haha. If extreme is what you’re going for then do it! Theres always a client for that😎🤙🏻

I think he said he shots 60fps 4k. Which on the A74 crops in 1.5x

@@Josh-ms6wmhaha yes, good catch. 4k 24fps is full frame, but 4k 60fps has a 1.5 crop sensor. Thats the only downside when I want a slow motion shot. Overall I think it’s a great camera!

Yep! 4k at 60fps has a 1.5 cropped sensor. Thats why I mostly shoot in 4k 24fps. If I’m going for a shot where I know I’ll slow it down in post, I’ll shoot 60fps and just take the beating of that 1.5 crop😂🤙🏻

The FX30 has an APS-C sensor which is slightly smaller than those full frame sensors!
