So excited for you Greer!! No need to bring your pump! They will give you all the pump parts that you can keep and a pump to use during your stay, which is so helpful and one less large item to bring with you! The hospital definitely will have all the essentials for you and baby, so if you end up forgetting something there is no need to worry! I didn't have my hospital bag with me when I had Hudson so I had no tooth brush or deodorant.. just the clothes on my back, but they came through with it all!

You're almost there! What a blessing. Honestly, I hardly used anything in my hospital bag haha. Having plenty of snacks that you and your hubby like is a must right now when hospitals aren't letting you leave or order takeout. :)

Take your pump!! My husband actually went and picked mine up while I was still in the hospital and the lactation consultant helped me & showed me how to use it :) Can’t wait to hear what his name is 😍

I just had my first baby last month! I had my hospital bag packed with everything I could need and I used...nothing! 🤣 I gave birth at a birthing center, so our stay was only 12 hours. But I used my going home outfit, baby girl’s going home outfit, and my toothpaste. That was IT! I was shocked!

I didn’t bring anything to the hospital with me for breastfeeding because I wasn’t too sure if I would be able to. Thankfully I didn’t have any problems but my milk didn’t fully come in until I left the hospital after a 48 hour stay. Not sure how your local hospital is but they had everything provided and I loved the mesh undies they gave me more than regular ones haha. The only things I ended up using in my suitcase was my toothbrush, toothpaste, my flip flops, & a going home outfit. My only recommendation is to take whatever you want to make you feel more comfortable :)

Keep old big towels in the car. Your water may break while travelling to hospital, or who knows, your bub may decide to pop out during the commute. Last thing your hubby want to deal with is cleaning up after-birth car interior! I laid towel on top of toilet training pad (or puppy toilet training sheet) on the car seat as I was scared about staining the carseat x

I’m a first time mom and just had a baby! You should definitely get some dermoplast and tux! Also, some maxi pads! Probably looked into padsicles because you’re going to be hurting down there! Praying you have a healthy delivery 🙏🏽

Me too! My son is 5 months. I'm so excited for you! My hospital gave me a ton of pads and tux to take home!

Your milk doesn’t usually come in for a week. The only time I brought a breast pump to the hospital, was when our little miracle through adoption was born. I induced lactation (aka taught my body to produce milk), and needed to keep a regular pumping schedule to produce milk.

I was not ready for labor so I went without extra clothes and ended up not needing them anyway just wore a robe because nurses are checking your stomach and such so they need easy access, just bring something to wear for when you leave. The nursing boppy pillow was a save for me I didn’t have one until my mother in law amazon primed it and it saved my life lol your arms will get tired and the best underwear are the hospital ones super stretchy!! Let’s see what else, I say bring an extra swaddle because I had to keep asking for new ones. Also where is your toiletry bag and makeup bag from ?

My hospital experience, I didn’t bring anything other than my pillow, and blanket, my mom packed all my personal hygiene stuff because I wanted to shower so bad right away! I wish I had brought my own underwear since theirs ( meshy undies were very uncomfortable especially after having a csection . Breast pumps they have , no need to bring yours. They should have their own professional one and even better they have a breastfeeding licensed consultant to help you through this beautiful journey . Prayers sent your way!! Take care

I just used the hospital breast pump. My milk was slow to come in but you’ll probably be fine! I think you did really well! Maybe a pair of sweats or leggings too. I loved wearing pants because it kept the pad in place.
