I do not do a Christmas EVE box, but I do give my son a Christmas ox on Dec. 1st. Usually a Christmas puzzle, book, a movie, snacks etc.

We would also get socks and/or underwear, art supplies, a book and/or notebook plus other stationery, hair/beauty stuff, a small piece of jewellery.

Growing up, I used to go to my parents’ room with my siblings to open presents. We had to wait until 7 am though!

I remember my parents would always make us wait until about 7am also. I remember some years waking up at 4am so early because I was so excited 🤭

Great practical items that I’m sure he’ll get good use out of. I always pop in art supplies and notebooks too. Another thing we nearly always do is mini flashlights. Amazon has them in multi packs so you can split them and I buy a multi colour pack so they get their favourite colours. For some reason they’re always a huge hit with the kids. I also like the plus plus tubes. They are little cross shaped building blocks that interlink so you can build little structures. Some of them come with specific instructions for building, say, a dragon or a dinosaur or something and others are just freestyle. Again Amazon has them and they’re around £6ish. For younger kids there are also lots of options for tubes filled with mini animals or princesses, knights etc that are a fantastic fit for a more traditional stocking shape. 😊

In our house we open the stockings when ever we wake up witch is usually early until our mum wakes up

This is nice and simple, love the pressies. Will you be doing the advent calendar for your daughter again this year? I loved that idea last year and will be doing the same for my daughter💃🏾💃🏾💃🏾

Thank you lovely. Darcy isn't having it this year she opted for a little skincare bundle instead she has a chocolate one but I am putting together something similar for Olly but football themed. I do love the idea of custom making them though as you can get some lovely bits that you know will be used. I hope your daughter loves her advent calendar ❤️
