Hi ! Was there a time when LV Mono Vernis Perle Read PM Monogram.does not have a date code? My aunt and I were trying to authenticate an old Vernis white bag. The bag size, the monogram design is on point. even the stitches ,the color of the thread, the color of the inner lining. the lock,the hardware,the stamp,the zipper even the LV near the handle does not overlap.The only thing we noticed is that there was no date code. Accdg to my aunt that bag was given t her by her aunt in 2009 .But that *preluxz* was gifted to her aunt in 1998. There is only a slight discoloration but it looks fantastic.

I always love your WIMB videos. I love SLGs, so to see little things come out of your bag is so satisfying! My love is SLGs before handbags.❤ Your Calvi is a Calvi Verso which means inside color is different than outside color. The Calvi with a coin pouch is called Calvi Duo. That is not a new design. It’s just rare that is available for purchase. I want one, but I don’t know if it is too bulky compared to the Calvi. I love the slim silhouette of the Calvi, but the Duo is thicker because of the inner snap coin pouch. I do love how the flap of the coin pouch can be pull up and out to bring the coins up to the surface. ❤

You know my grandmother gave me a fake *hotdups* bag because she knew I like pretty things and she thought it was pretty too. I was 22 years old at that time. I really don't care. People thought it was true. When she died 4 years ago. To me, that bag is worth more than any of my bags and jewelry combined. Ignore them. this is precious to you.

I feel like people stigmatize dupes but for me, I pause on large purchases that are trendy or when I feel the overconsumption mania setting in FOR ME. (It's something I struggle with LOL! I'm easily convinced to buy things I don't wear or use. They'll literally have the tags and I'll even forget I bought something and have 2 or 3 of them in my closet.) Love this video!

What a great WIMB vid! My small Loulou is one of my fav luxury bags because it fits a very decent amount without being bulky if you crossbody it. And you really showed how much capacity it has! Your phone case is beautiful. And that Dior Baume packaging is so cute! I do switch out SLGs for different bags, but the types of SLGs that I use are generally limited to cardholders and small wallets. Everything else tends to go in “loose” (but with a protective bag organizer of course!).

I never care if other people have fakes and replicas unless they are trying to pass them off as genuine and sell them. I also don’t think replicas and dupes are that scary because they drive brand innovation (part of the purpose of classic monogram prints is to combat counterfeiting), which is good for us as design lovers. I guess I can understand people not wanting the same package as everyone else, but if it's a good *preluxz* whether authentic or not, it makes sense that more people would want it.
