About reps in Sephora NY, very true. In Michigan they were slightly better .. despite my multiple shopping experience in the US, I get a little intimidated. I went with SIL who is awesome and know a lot more about make up ( and is caucasian) I was treated so so much better. The other times It’s like they knew that I was a tourist.

Its weird that you had such an experience at the Sephora outlets .. but i have been to most of them in Manhattan and Jersey City and they're extremely helpful, they'll literally follow you around to help you lol coz they work on commissions so they're very friendly and polite. So maybe it was the holiday season and they were too exhausted.
