Hey Angie! Basically to explain whats going on... Transit Love 2 is a show where ex couples come together and spend like 3 weeks in a house together! There are like 10 contestants (5 ex couples) that spend time together and decide if they want to go back to dating their ex or if they want to find new love. The catch is that the contestants don't know whose ex is who and they are instructed to hide who their ex is from the others untill the show reveals it towards the end. And throughout the time they spend together the contestants get to go on dates and get to know each other. It's like your typical dating show but with the difference that an ex lover of yours is also a contestant. so to explain the Hae Eun and Gyu Min story,, they dated from 21 to 28 so they spend almost 8 years as a couple. They broke up sometime in 2021 and then decided to accept the offer to be part of the show. basically to sum it up, Gyumin didn't want to get back with Haeeun and wanted to experience a new love, but Hae Eun still had feeling for him. So for the whole show he acted cold towards her and barely talked to her, becuase he thought it would be worse and it would make her feel like he still was open to receive her love. But Hyungyu appeared and started liking Hae Eun, so they went on dates and she started opening her heart for Hyungyu. And in ep 20 the final episode (the one you watched) they had to make a final choice and she decided to choose Hyungyu Nayeon and Heedoo were basically also an ex couple that dated and broke up and got back together multiple times.. in the end they decided to give it another shot and date again. They're still together to this day, i saw it on Insta ahahaha There are more couples and more stories, they just didnt show it in the mmtg episode. I feel like if it sparked your interest, you could watch it and react to it on Patreon, I would love to see it. This show went viral in SK and its so good! Very entertaining and addictive! Really worth watching! Although the episodes are kinda long, but you can take it slowly at your own pace! If you don't wanna watch it its ok too, I just wanted to explain because you were really lost and guessing everything wrong ahhaha

Hyungyu was actually the most gentle and genuine guy and he is literally perfect for Haeun because throughout the show he was nothing but respectful thowards her. Before he came on the show she was always crying because of how Gyumin treated her but once she went out with Hyungyu she had a constant smile on her face. Hyungyu knew she wasn't entirely over Gyumin yet but he still took the chance and asked her out. He makes her happy and feel loved, which is proven by the fact that they are still a couple in real life as of today. You should watch the show, then you'd understand why everyone was rooting for them.

haeeun and hyungyu is actually together irl. i think they dated right after the show but they are being pretty lowkey about it. the funny thing is that gyumin (haeeun's ex) is the one who invited her to join the show so that he could find a new love while she were hoping to get back to him but she's the one who ends up with the new guy :')

I wish I could hear what you are saying. Your microphone is faulty. It echoes everything you are saying a split second later whilst cutting out half the time as well. So it is a constant battle trying to decipher just a few phrases from what you are saying. A new microphone would hopefully solve this problem.
