Cody! Your hair trick TOTALLY worked!!! I tried it last night with Kilian's Incense Oud and I can still smell it this morning... I've never had such great longevity before. I think you've permanently put a dent in the "How many sprays and where" category... nice job sir.

Dr.Fragrance, Its me again. Kori, Im impressed, you could be a consultant now on Colognes for men with your experience and knowledge. Between the 400+ bottle collection and the research and personal interest in time spent, because of the love, dedication you put into these vids. It is important to note here for your readers, how accurate you are with your information. You hit on a few Key points, that interested me. The most important was when you said to apply to the head, kneck, and wrist area's. That was interesting because i had been doing that now for a few years out of instinct as this had been a question before. So you confirmed for me what i was doing was correct. I am grateful for your work, Thanks

Great vid!! I like back of hand v. wrist because... it's a larger area, watch band won't absorb it, its more exposed with long sleeves, has hair, and easier to wash hands without washing it off.

@flavin32 It shouldn't dry out your hair or cause hair loss.. your head naturally oils your hair as well.. and fragrance contains oil as well. Dermo's recommend a variety of things.. what aspect are you referring to?

A suggestion from Ronald at the Creed Boutique in NYC helped me. Since I sport facial hair (goatee), after all the normal places, I hit the goatee a couple times then quickly comb it through. It lasts all day, and the ladies seem to enjoy it. The hair absorbs it very well, and gives it up all day.

Great video as always Doc, i really like the how you pay respect to you viewers by the way you dress and the polite way you speak. I just want to add that the weather too can alter the way people perceive your fragrance. For example Encre Noire on a gloomy rainy day never fail to impress.

Very informative and thorough video. I used that exact lotion before but switched to the "Men's 3-in-1" lotion. It drys faster and feels less greasy, also fragrance free. I'd recommend trying it.

Appreciate the tips! Coincidentally I recently purchased Terre D'Hermes, the EDP. For the price I expected much better longevity than what I am getting. Tops I am getting 5-7 hours the latter 3-4 hours it becomes a close skin scent. I am thinking of trying to take it back. For comparison I sprayed Chanel Egoiste on one wrist and TDH on the other; Chanel definitely overpowers it. I will try TDH tomorrow on the collar bone pits and wrists and see how it goes.

That ones a little tougher. Depends on the spritzer. Generally you want to spray it as far away as the mist reaches its full spread. Sometimes i shorten it

Great Video Cody!!! Very informative, it really is about how a person takes care of their body, I would like to add hydration, drinking water (1 1/2 gallons a day for men, 1 gallon for women) it just improves ones skin and overall heath, and also the things people eat also react towards how a person is going to smell, for example I know someone that is a coffee drinker and the coffee expels right through there pores etc.

depends on how heavy the fragrance will be. With most suits I usually go for the neck, hair , wrists (and shirt cuffs as well)

To my knowledge it can't... but for me it depends on the season. In the winter ill go Vaseline because it keeps me warmer. In the summer i swerve more towards unscented.

wait..kinda confused. i spray each pit..not sure how you would transfer between the two
@StPieXOraProNobis11 жыл бұрын
When you spray your shoulder pits, do you spray each pit or do you spray one side and transfer some to the other, like some say to do for the wrists? The other day, the girl behind the counter at Subway complimented me (I was wearing Aventus.) It was nice to get a compliment, but I was a bit horrified, simply because she was several feet away, I couldn't smell it on myself at all, and I'd applied pretty judiciously in the morning. Nobody wants to be "that guy," Gotta love olfactory fatigue!

Thanks for this.....also what people tend to do, especially women, is once we've had a shower or bath, we use a body cream that matches the fragrance so you're layering the scent. Also, I don't know if this is another correct way is to spray the fragrance in the air and walk into it. I sometimes do that.

I just started wearing fragrances and already had Le Male but bought my first one for daily wear. I got the Azzaro Chrome, but I'm not really sure where I should apply it. It seems like a light fragrance but still a bit sharper than things like Acqua Di Gio. Would I be good with 1 spray on each side of my neck and 1 on each wrist or would that already be overkill? I apply my Le Male 1 spray in middle of the neck from a distance so it speads and 1 on one of my wrists and put my wrists together.

Hey Cody. Great video, very helpful, lots of useful info. I agree that perfumes taste awful - several times I kissed a girl in the neck, where she had applied perfumes and it was like... bleee ;) I just have a question about spraying your hair. Personally I don’t do it, because alcohol dries out your hair. It is definitely a good spot to apply perfumes, but IMO you’re just making damage to your hair, so it is not worth it. Don’t you think so?

@Szymon1987 It shouldn't damage your hair.. remember.. your hair naturally has oil in it.. and the fragrance does as well. It would be different if the volume of alcohol was higher
@StPieXOraProNobis11 жыл бұрын
Well, I know that some people will spray one wrist, and then rub it on the other wrist instead of actually spraying both wrists. Or, they'll spray their wrist, rub it on the other, and then rub their wrists against their neck, so I thought you might be referring to something like that, vs. a separate spray on each side. Thanks for clarifying :)

I recently decided that Versace eros will be my scent for a while. How and where would you personally apply this EDT? Also, when you say that you spray your neck pits, does that mean your hitting each pit with one spray? Or are you applying it to your wrist and rubbing the spray into your neck piys?
@dracdoc10 жыл бұрын
kyletehsex I usually spray each "neck pit" when I apply it there. For eros, and this is just me.. I would go about 2-4 sprays now.. one to the chest, head and both wrists. That's just ME though, go with what you feel comfortable with

Older video but haven't gotten to all your videos yet. I totally get the part of not spraying your clothes. If you do i suggest not spraying alot on your clothes. Your pulse points after you shower are the areas it was mean't for i agree. For a shirt i do wash after i wear it once but if it was a hoodie then i might where a couple times. Plus it's nice smelling your clean clothes and cologne on your skin.
