Thanks it worked.. but i just disabled and enabled the media visibility toggle only . The gallery wssnt showing any photos or videos and now its showing again They were there in the device but they werent showing in gallery and now they are ❤

Doesn't work. Open whatsapp>settings>chats>chat settings>media visibility> turn that option on

First part has already been done on my phone, so I just went for the second, but it was also already on. Turned it off and on again... The folders came back!
