It's incredible how difficult and frustrating such a simple task such as migrating an app could be. The moment I enter the 6 digit code on the iPhone, my OnePlus 10 Pro (with the SIM card still in) claims that Whatsapp is registered ato another device and the transfer process halts. I reckon it has to do with the Android version. I have done like 7 factory defaults on the poor iPhone... I am going to break something...

@13abshah Can you help explain this in detail? In my case I have only one simcard to be used. Do you mean once I finished transfer the data, then only I can move the simcard in side the Iphone?

I went through all the process but I did get the option that says Tranfer from Android after I install WhatsApp on my new iPhone. It say no back up to retire mean while I transfer with move ios😢

hey buddy, I follow your steps but once the code on iphone has been accepted the next page with 'move chats from android (9:00)' never appear for me and instead I've had the page with 'restore from icloud' - is there any chance you could helps please? You need to update everything and do a WhatApp backup first

Hi! I have a question. I am in the same situation as you in this video (I want to transfer my WhatsApp to my new iPhone). I already setup my new iPhone and only realised after that I had to use the 'Move to iOS' tool to transfer the WhatsApp primary account. If I follow the steps in this video and sign into my Apple ID near the end of the process, will the iPhone be restored to as it was from the last iCloud backup? Or will be back to factory settings? Yes.. move to iOS app is the only legitimate solution but it took me almost 6-7 times of attempting the whole process all over again but trust me it works.

Unfortunately Move to iOS only works with regular WhatsApp, but you can convert Business to Regular and do the transfer.
