I love Bryce but was also annoyed with her especially the way she treated Hunt like why does she expect him to be ok with all her plans after all that he had to endure? I really liked their relationship in the first and second book but not in this one.. Lidia really saved this book for me! I want more Ruhn and Lidia😍

i will say, when bryce jumped through the portal from Az and Nesta they literally said they would cut the horn off her back so that she couldnt get home. then reading one of the bonus chapters Rhys literally said he would have killed Bryce if she came back with them the first time. I wouldnt trust a different worlds fae to keep me alive if I had something that could kill all their people so you bet I would get out of there as soon as I could. on the other hand if I were in Rhys is position I would also not let her leave my court. She doesnot have a reason to trust them because they will always pick their people over her.

i dont feel like you can betray someone that you have no loyalty to. both groups owed nothing to the other one. i feel like if it was a group that we had no connection to we would all be like supportive of her. if it was a group we didnt know and she was spilling her secrets everyone would be like "girl you are so dumb. you dont know them. dont tell them anything" but with the inner circle we suddenly expect more from her. every fae leader that she has met has been terrible. her father and conners father were terrible to them so she had no reason to trust Rhys.

Was so excited to watch this! No other books make me quite as emotional in every sense of the word as SJM books do. I also sobbed my eyes out. I think the theories about this book as an end to the focus being on Hunt and Bryce’s story are likely true and that’s why the ending was happy. Not that they won’t appear in the future bc I’m sure they will. I also think CC4 will probably be House of Many Waters with Tharion as the focal point. Especially with ACOTAR 5 being the next SJM book we’re getting I think it’s going to be more of Nesta as the main plot based off the bread crumbs in this book and I’m not mad (Elain who?). Finally, the TOG tie in has to mean something more. Maybe I’m just reaching because I will never get enough of TOG, but we literally get Aelin falling through Prythian in ACOSF and KOA, and the shifters are originally from Erilea? Also SJM dropping hints about going back to working on something very close to her heart? TOG all day. In some form please and thank you.

Book 4 is gonna be a spinoff, kind of like how Nesta got her own in ACOTAR. I bet it’s gonna be an Ithan/Tharion book. Ithan has the Sigrid thing, Tharion has Sathia and things HOMW. I also wouldn’t be surprised to get a hypaxia storyline

okay and also honestly Ithan's whole "I have to save everyone" personality started to bother me because he just messes up absolutely everything for everyone in the process.. like yeah its the thought that counts he cares but right he killed Sigrid, then she becomes a reaper, and its not even resolved at the end?? and Tharion + Ithan's crippling low self esteem throughout the entire book bothered me too like if you're so sad MAKE SOMETHING OF YOURSELF ALREADY. like why couldn't Ithan just acknowledge that literally everyone saw him as alpha but he was like no it has to be Sigrid like??? grow up be a man??? hello???
