Mud was the very first band I saw Live.....ABC cinema in 1974....I was 13, dressed to the nines in loons and tank top, thought I was the bees knees ! I remember going to the Mud christmas concert in Cardiff, it was just after the tragedy when a fan died at a David Cassidy concert. Les Gray stopped the concert and told us that they wouldn't continue unless we stayed in our seats. Amazing XXX

The Secrets That You Keep must be one of the best pop records ever ( along with Brown Sugar and Get It On) from the magical 70s. It has a special meaning for me and place in my heart. My gorgeous girlfriend at that time sometimes mentioned a previous boyfriend which made me feel jealous and wonder about the secrets that she kept! I think the record was a B side, which I thought was strange, as it was an A in my opinion. The record is still a part of my life, as it's great for dancing to salsa and modern jive/ceroc which I practice (although sadly partner dancing is on hold because of the Covid-19 crisis).
