I used to absolutely scorn pre-made jacket potatoes. Until that is I tried them. Five minutes in the microwave and they are perfect every time. They are now a freezer staple. Thanks for introducing me to them. I watch your videos every Saturday night in my bed. Good to relax to. Thanks so much. Mike

Thank you for the grocery haul video. We have the option of having grocery delivery here in Toronto but I really prefer to choose my own produce and every week there are in-store specials that you need to show up in person to get. I picked up 2 lbs of premium butter for $4.88 cdn, which are normally about $7.50 to $8.00 per pound. But more importantly... I am working on making your steak pie today for tomorrow's dinner. I finally diced a chuck roast and marinated it in ginger, garlic, Worcestershire, soy sauce, and Montreal Steak spice yesterday. Slow cooked it in my Dutch oven with onions/carrots/celery, thyme and a bay leaf. I strained it as I had so much gravy. So I will bake it tomorrow and have some nice freezer beef gravy. Thank you for the inspiration. You are the best!

That Fage 5% is our very favorite. It’s good alone, but if you drizzle it with a little honey, it is an amazing treat.

I love watermelon, and we fell in love with watermelon juice when we were in Singapore. As far as I could tell, it was simply watermelon blended in a blender. Very refreshing. I do think that your groceries are cheaper than ours in New Zealand

You should film a collection of your top up shops over a week or two and show us. It'd be cool to see. ❤

A great weeks shopping. I can't wait to see what all you cook for next week. You will have to give us a quick photo of Mr WFT watermelon smoothie. If you ever catch watermelon on sale, it freezes well. I just cut the melon in half then scoop it out with an ice cream scoop and freeze the balls in a zip bag. I like a watermelon slush sometimes. Watermelon (3 cups), honey (2 TBSP) and lime juice((2 TBSP). Blend until completely liquified and pour over crushed ice. You can add 1/2 of a banana too. I like to use frozen fruit but fresh is ok too if the banana is ripe. There will be a foam on the top from the fruit fiber, so I keep stirring that in as I drink it. Love Ya.

Thanks for this video, I’m in Massachusetts in the USA and fascinated with what groceries are available in other places. There are similarities and differences. Also, I work a few times a week in the food store where we shop for our family, in a part time job. Some items here are ones that we buy as well, and others are quite different.

Hi, Cheryl! Yes, there is a difference in taste between a 0% FAGE yogurt and a 5% one. The second one is smoother and creamier, a real treat on its own. Do enjoy! ❤

Hi Cheryl. Well that makes at least 2 of us. Especially when I'm trying to cut calories. I don't want salad for tea on a cold, wintry evening. But tinned tomatoes on toast? Perfect!! 😅

I’m quite late to watch this week. Some of our supermarkets in town have the click and collect, but our “usual “ does not. Would you say that your experience with it is generally positive? Cheers, and ATB!

Dont buy tim tams any more ,they now cost $6.00 a packet here in Australia 😡 whichis about 3 pounds
@jillybean5159Күн бұрын
Cheryl, regarding Tim Tams, you've missed nothing! They are over sweet, over rated and best left over here (Australia). I - an addicted choccie biccie devotee! - hate them. A friend of mine somehow got the impression that I love them and always buys them just for me when I visit. Sadly she hates them too, so what a waste of money! I haven't the heart to tell her!
