A tip for Harry, or anyone recording with OBS really. Record in mkv, not mp4, that way if something happens like you kick your pc and it shuts off, the video file is still there.

@@filipdzero8739 they can. It’s just windows media player that doesn’t play this codec. Use VLC player to play video files. As for editing, some programs let you edit mkv, some might need to install plugins, or if nothing works might need to convert mkv to mp4.

I agree with Simon on the concert thing. Sure people are at the show but they aren't living the moment when they focus too much on getting the social media moment. No harm in recording and taking pictures but it's how it's done like Simon was saying where someone ends up focusing on getting the Instagram story and all rather than just taking a quick vid/picture and then moving on. It's the same with recording memories with friends. Not sure how Harry recorded the video in mp4 which corrupted but I made a tutorial specifically on how to get the recording back as I had similar thing happen after my pc crashed because the temperature went too high on the cpu for a split second. Also if it's with OBS then you just record in mkv and then go file -> remux recordings and it converts them to mp4 and if your pc crashes or something whilst it's in mkv then it doesn't mess up
