When you talk about bringing in ID, you have to factor in how easily sites get hacked and how their information gets accessed and the idea of showing their names could even lead to knock on effects with domestic abuse victims etc. who've escaped and are trying to be anonymous. And also there are some people who don't even have ID and aren't fortunate enough to have a passport or drivers license which is more common than we think
