The issue with the Mr Beast video is it didn't let the guys' personalities come out. The great Sidemen videos are roughly planned to let their natural selves and banter shine, and they're super relatable. This isn't the same for Mr Beast and his crew - hence why they rely on big budget and grand ideas.

@@Shrnirpledorp I don't even mind the childish aspect, I mean they've done videos at kids play centres and hide and seek is literally a kids game. But those other videos still have the interactions amongst the sidemen as the feature, which is what we love. And it's why they've been so popular for so long. The Mr Beast video concept was the hero, not the guys interacting with each other, which is why most sidemen fans feel it fell flat. It was a play for the Mr Beast type audience though so that makes sense, they just need to understand why their fans aren't as warm to the video. Which I think they are, so good to see.

@@evanh7167 I dont think it was the childish aspect that annyoed fans most, i think its the fact that there was so much hype and anticipation given how much promo they had behind it and how much they hyped it up on sidecast that this was the most expensive sidemen video to date. I feel like the fans were blue balled a little given that this is a collab between two of the biggest brands on youtube backed up with this aura of greatness by the way they hyped it up just for it to be the way it was. I enjoyed the vid but it was like being promised a ps5 for christmas and your parents end up getting you a ps3

i think the reason as to why the sidemen spanish channel did badly its because you guys went with the spaniard dub instead of the latin american dub, spanish dubs have really bad reputation and latin american dubs seems to have waaaay more acceptence when it comes to content. i think if you guys gave it another shot but with the latin dub it would do way better plus you would finally tap into a huuuuuge market in latin america!

It should’ve been the glitch cards, all the sidemen in their superhero costumes so like deep throat man and allow it man. Jimmy ruined the video for me because I found him so controlling. I think he forgot this was a Sidemen shoot and not a Mr Beast one. Seeing him on Side+ BTS just backed up my opinion... I would have hated to be on a shoot with him. I LOVED the Sidecast with him though, it was one of my faves.

It wasn’t shit stop whining. However it wasn’t great and I can barely call it good. It was fine. The real issue was the games weren’t that good besides the door one and maybe the American “football” one. That and it felt rushed. There was no real intro and no outro and we just cut to each game as soon as one ended with no room to breath. It was fun for the most part.
