This Chanel is honestly a time capsule, so many memories from my 8-11 year old times. I remember yall touring the original foundation of the house and talking about everything you wanted to put in each area

I think selling this house was a mistake… absolutely loved watching you guys build this home. Your family will always come back and continue to grow keep making such great content. Maybe we see some more vlogs before Lincoln goes to college

I have always thought that his house was cool but it look a bit old-fashioned and did not make the best use of space, for 3 million he can def make a more modern design house

I think the main reason the are moving is because of the openness of where they live. I’m sure they are going to move into a gated more private and secure area. I bet they have run into some unpleasant encounters with people that figure out where they live.

​@@josephbrown4782In one of the videos, Dan made off-hand comment about them moving to gated community with Jonathan (his builder and now friend). They planned to build a new house there. So yea, it most definitely would be an elite gated community that they would move into.

The charm of that video was his young son’s enthusiasm for every video. He is now a freshman in college and things aren’t the same. Also, this man is clearly doing very well and does not need to or want to make more.

@@FaizCaliph Lincoln is not in college yet. He’s still a senior in high school. He won’t go to BYU until the next school year. Also he still wants to do videos and that was confirmed but he also wants that life experience with school, golf, and such which there is nothing wrong with that. He’s just taking a break from KZbin which totally fine to do and he will come back when he’s ready.

Those videos were great especially when I was younger but I think his audience has matured and as someone who is 26 and would love to have my own custom house one day. I really enjoy watching the house videos. As much as I love the what’s inside videos, you can only do so much with that. When it comes to the tech/Home reviews and the journey on building his custom home I really enjoy the way the videos are put together and how Dan goes in depth with the journey from start to finish. I’m looking forward to the new home and the next chapter! I’ve been a fan for many years now and I think the way Dan is running the channel is perfect and I really enjoy all the content from the house, to Teslas and doing what’s inside stuff.

Exactly. Theory and practice are two different things. Hence, why i'm not surprised that the next video will be the 10 things they *didn't* like. Leslie had the opportunity to make her dream house. But this was just her apprenticeship. Her next one'll be her masterpiece! As long as Dan remembers the number one rule that made this one so great (when in doubt, choose Leslie's route) their next home will be WAY better.

My favorite thing about your list is also #10! Only visiting your home 2 times in person during the parade of homes-it wasn’t hard to notice that part-especially with your family there meeting everyone and smiling and being so welcoming. Then with all the videos filmed in and around your house-the feeling still comes through. 🎉Well done! Moving is freaking hard. I just moved out of my house after 22 years into a really cozy new house that I love but a part of me will forever miss my old home. It’s not about where you live, it’s about the memories that you make where you live :)

Unless they use no electricity at night. Because he said if they don't have EV then the solar ahould cover almost all of next owners needs. I was shocked to hear $.06 per kwh, that is INSANELY cheap. I know they said its for the environment or whatever but buying solar was a horrible ROI purchase. They probably aren't even a 1/4 the way on paying it back. They probably took AT LEAST a ~$25k+ loss

I think it’s sad they are selling. Such a beautiful home. But, a lot of people who make videos on social media sell their homes and build another one for views for their channel. Also, they may be moving into that gated community they talked about in another video and build there. I don’t believe they are downsizing though. Just my opinion. Lincoln may go to college but they still have two kids and I believe they want to build again to correct any problems they may have experienced in this home. Just my two cents.

You said 220/240 amps for the car chargers. 220/240 is for the voltage. The breakers are usually 50 to 70 amps. Otherwise great presentation.
