Fanfiction will always remain creepy to me... especially when they're about real life people.

People didn't use to write it about real people. It used to solely be for fictional characters. Honestly, it used to be looked down upon to write about real people. Real people have real thoughts and feelings, while fictional characters don't. I don't have a problem with normal fanfiction but when it's about people, it's almost always horrifying.

razrv3lc I'm the same way, and I've literally never encountered anyone else who's bothered by it, so thank you. The only time I don't have a problem with fanfiction is when it uses canon characters and canon relationships from a fictional universe, and just fills in blank spots in what's already established. Then, it's not disrespectful of what the creator created.
