I try my best to only buy stuff 3 times a year. Hobonichi release time, Christmas and my birthday. Sometimes I combine Christmas and birthday. Sometimes I’ll make a tiny purchase another time of the year. ✒️

I have an Archer and Olive journal that I document all of my stationery purchases. I date it, list who I bought from, write the order number and total spent, listing each item purchased. If I buy washi or PET tape I put a sample of it next to the order. At the end of the month I total all of my stationery costs and have a monthly log of total spent. I’m out of control, I’ll never use all the items bought. I need to shop my stash and do a 2025 no spend, wish me luck.
