I complete relate with the Leontine jumper- I have worn and loved the ecru version then thought I’d order the navy one for funsies and to spend $200 for free shipping… and I ended up loving the navy and kept it. I’m not the type of person to own two of anything, it’s just that pretty!

Love your videos and your bubbly personality! I also fell in love with the new Leontine colour and ordered it as soon as I saw it - I was lukewarm to the fit at first since it hits at the widest part of the hip, but decided to keep it since it looks perfect when tucked in. Now it has grown on me so much I wish I would wear it every day. 😅

I agree on your point about the gold in the Gaspard! I think the way they photograph downplays how intense the gold is in reality. I had to return a pair of animal print pants bc they had gold that was totally invisible in the photos!

I'm so torn! I don't have any stripes in my wardrobe and have been eyeing these, torn between the Colete & Leontine, which style/one would you recommend for a first time stripe top to add to your collection? Style/fitting/flattery between two?

That’s such a tough question! They’re such different styles! But if I had to pick one style out of the two, it would be the Leontine. It looks lovely on with the subtle stripes and the quality of the knit is hard to fault! Hope that helps!

I *really* like the navy/white leontine. I've had my eye on it since it launched but I literally can't bring myself to buy it as I have a real knitwear problem and trying to pace myself as actual cold weather is still some time away (plus, trying to be as intentional as possible with my two purchase limit for my low buy). The Gaspard... I have to say, I have this and I NEVER wear it. Mine is in the camel colour. I've also previously bought it in white. I just don't know if it's that flattering? I always feel like it looks "off" when I wear it though have tried to make such an effort to make it "work". So it constantly surprises me that it's such a cult piece for the brand. I think of everything the Anil and Leontine tops are your best bet. The Anil in particular would probably be a nice option to have for work for you, worn with tailored trousers or a skirt and a blazer over top!

I can totally relate to your knitwear problem - I’m constantly browsing for knits year round 🙈 you’re so right about the Gaspard. I have the navy one, which I like, but the cut doesn’t blow me away. I’m inclined to keep the Anil and the Leontine. The navy Leontine is pretty amazing and exactly what you’d expect considering you have the ecru one too 😍

I woke up to a notification that you had posted a Sézane try on video! Great beginning to my day 😊 I really like the Leontine sweater and the navy version on you. It is versatile and pulls a look together even a simple pair of jeans. And the navy Anil looks wonderful on you. The Gaspard and Tammie do not give me a “wow” reaction. I have a few Gaspard cardigans and I think it is the gold stripes that I do not like. And I laughed as you explained the seductive nature of the Sézane photos and falling into the promise of the looks. As a 5’2 pear shaped petite, I find that not all Sézane pieces flatter my shape.

Thanks for another helpful, fun video. I think you should definitely keep the navy and ecru stripe knit. It does look different enough from the other one you have. I also have both and find them individually versatile.

I just got my Léontine in navy and love it 😍 just need to descide on which size to keep (XXS or XS) 😅 I'm only 150 cm so reeeeallly tiny person 🤣 I would also like to ask you about the Léontine but have you had any shrinkage when washing this knit? And have you hadwashed or tossed it in the machine?

How exciting! It’s nice that you have both sizes to test out. I hand wash this one - I don’t pop it into the machine. I find the delicate setting on my washing machine is still a bit too harsh on my knits. Your machine might be better though.

Hey! I'm 149 cm lol. I went for Leontine xxs and it's a loose relaxed fit on me. Mine hasn't shrunk so far and when I washed it in the washing machine, I always put it in a delicate wash bag and use the most delicate cycle.

I think the Leontine in navy is lovely but I think the ecru version you have looks even better on you. The gaspard was ok, you could see how a plain white gaspard would look amazing on you! Would not have thought of styling that Anil backward but have to say works really well. N Love your Sezane videos.

Does the Leontine jumper get softer after you wear and wash it a few times? The fabric is rather rough.

it does soften with wear though i never found the knit to be rough in the first place. the cotton is much weightier than wool and i have found it to be relatively easy care :)

I'm so glad you did try the Anil again! I never wear mine the 'right' way at all, the boat neck is just so much nicer and there's less to feel self-conscious about. I vote to keep Anil and Leontine :-)

The skirt is very pretty! But the thin fabric is pretty unforgiving - particularly if you’re bottom heavy like me :) Ahhh thanks for that. I was placing the emphasis on the wrong syllable!

Look you viedo! I also bought the skirt, yeah, I am fooled by the pictures of Sézane. It was a similar way on me as your viedo. Not as flattering as I imagined. And I returned it. Also, I love stripes, when I try them, I will dance and say that is totally my style (haha) and we do fall in love with classic cloth in different colours.🤦‍♀️

Keep the Leontine! I also have the ecru version and you’ve convinced me to buy the navy version as well haha 😅 I also love the Anil! I’m not a fan of the gold striped Gaspard - I think the metallic look would be a bit gaudy. I actually really like the skirt - super pretty! But if it doesn’t fit your life and you feel self conscious, then no point keeping it

Thanks so much! Yes! Gaudy is the perfect way to describe the metallic flecks in the Gaspard. If the skirt was made of a thicker fabric I’d be keen, but the thin fabric is pretty unforgiving unfortunately!
