hey btw 0:10 Your transition from guard into armbar would be a lot easier if you plant your heel into the opponent's hip and push off (opposite side to where you'll finish in the armbar, so left in this instance)

I have done that in bjj training. I think that works great for smooth surfaces but on asphalt I felt better doing a quick step to give some space to execute without sliding/spinning too much.

What Would Ninjas Do I had in the past, but I clicked not to recieve email notifications and that turned off the bell... seems you can’t simply get notified on KZbin, you’ll get notified by email too :/ antways look forward to the upcoming stuff, this was great... tomorrow I’m recording the final drawings for a huge video project, Draw My Life 2.... and I’ll soon be having and recording an amateur MMA fight with me vs Simon Dam... so I’ve got some special stuff for you to enjoy as well, once it comes out and a short, Savate like, striking combo tomorrow:)

You're right, that's why getting the throat strike helps to stun the opponent to create a window of opportunity and if you watch my striking hand I cup the opponent's head to drive it into my knee. The straight armbar from guard relies upon getting the opponent's head up some to then perform the move from below. That was a nice video on how to deal with being in someone else's closed guard. It does create an opportunity for the ankle sweeps though.

It's creative and I'm not saying it's all together bad or knocking it really but before applying any of those techniques there needs to be better tightness and control of the head and hands, and his pelvis. Ankle sweeps aren't possible when your hands are in the armpits and your head is posted in their sturnum. Try it. Best to you.

I want to see if it works with real sparring. Try to put gloves and do it maybe with 60% of real power. But i think it seem to work. So try to test it ^^ From a nindokan shinobi in France

I've done it with some resistance with an ear grab instead of the temple strike. There's always something that needs to be modified based on the kyusho (striking points) or speed with these types of techniques, but I think it is imperative to do it in randori safely.
