Wrong they do because my art teacher in high School was in his mid-late 30's, he's got a nice Jeep, a solid looking Harley Davidson and a mustang GT. All look in good condition and relatively new. He himself has told some of his students; myself included, that most teachers make good money. That lots of teachers complain because in other countries Instructors make more on average. If you consider the amount of vacation time most Teachers receive (Summers off) it's no wonder they're not satisfied with their yearly income. They should just start working summers if they're that upset. I know that seemed like I hated teacher but that's not the case. As a matter of fact I actually got along fine with many of my high school Instructors. College professors not so much.

I was the only person in my family that my grandfather was kind to when he was aware of things. I was too young to care for him when his Alzheimer symptoms became obvious. Still, there was a point where no matter how much I loved him, his nasty side he gave to everyone else was all he had left or he was so jumbled up in his mind he didn't make any sense at all and I did not like his company anymore.

I’ve seen many episodes of WWYD, but this hits me in a way that no other episode has. My grandfather passed away from Alzheimer’s in 2012, and it was one of the most heartbreaking things I’ve ever experienced. At the end of his life, he didn’t even remember me, my mom, or my grandmother. I still miss him so much that some days it’s hard to deal with the thought that he’s not here anymore because the memory of him is still so fresh in my mind. People, always be gentle and kind to the elderly-so many are so vulnerable to situations like these. 💔

This hits hard. My grandmother died from Alzheimer’s.. I remember one time when I was about 9. We were in Florida for vacation. My mom decided to bring her mom and dad (who lived in New York) On the way there, my grandma had freaked out thinking we were taking her to some kind of hospital or home or something. My grandfather had to calm her down. When we arrived, we were taking our bags out of the car and she started screaming. My mom had told me and my grandfather to go to our rooms with the bags and she’ll deal with her mom. My grandpa was clearly sad and distressed with the whole situation. In the end, they took a plane back. My mom figured out afterwards that her sister put it in her moms head that we were taking her to a hospital. At my grandmas funeral, there was this lady (I actually forgot her relation to the family as I haven’t seen her since and I don’t know if she knew me as a child) who came and started yelling at the casket with horrible things. She was escorted out but my grandfather started balling his eyes out. That was the first time I ever heard him swear. Okay I’m done with this, I just had a lot of things that I needed to let out. If you took your time reading this, thank you for that.

My grandmother's sister, who we visited her a few years ago and she was 95 I believe. I remember my grandmother entering the apartment seeing two caregivers and her sister. She saw her sister watching TV, and when she went up to her, she said: Sister, it's me. Do you still remember me? And her sister just mumbled. I didn't know too much about Alziemers that time but now thinking back, it's really heartbreaking. :(
