My old school bus driver was awful. He was never drunk, as far as I know. But he couldn’t drive. He was swerving across the road, making incredibly dangerous turns, braking in the middle of the road without warning. Worst of all, he was always texting and driving. Sitting at the wheel, with his phone in his hand, just texting. I’m 17, I’m the eldest on the bus, but there are kids as young as 6 on there. Eventually, I decided to report him and he got fired. The drives were so fucking terrifying though, at any moment we could’ve been totalled by a truck or something.

I drive a School Bus, it's a pretty baller college job, and I never have a drink during the week. There is however a problem far more distracting than alcohol, and that is kids. Not all kids are bad, but having spent a few years working this job I can tell you there is a systemic problem with bad behavior nowadays, and some of these kids will spit on you, call you a racist and even attack you... On a regular basis, and I mean weekly. At the end of the day though it isn't them who gets in trouble, it is you as a driver, because parents are always right and their kids are angels. I'm just gonna say it, tell your school district to stand up for it's drivers. Kids are going to end up getting hurt because some kid thinks it is ok to assault the driver while they are driving the bus, or do "crazy trendy" things on the bus like jumping over seats or sticking their head out the window, or beat up other kids, or best of all 10th graders blasting music about sucking d!ck and shooting up while there are 11 year olds on the bus. The list really is endless, but it's not the parents fault nope, it's the drivers fault for not being able to stay on the road while having world war 3 break out in the back seat or getting the sh!t beat out of them by an angel. You might say just write em up, but school adminstration ie principles are cowards and won't enforce your write up, because you are a worthless driver and they only protect themselves.

I remember in elementary school my bus driver had an attitude cause she had a bad day and she snapped on some kids for seat jumping so all 3 of them poured their juicebox's on the floor right before their stop. I took my dirty gym clothes and tried to clean it up. The bus driver started crying and gave me a hug and I got a "big helper" award from the office the next day.

Another episode and I’m in tears. Omg I need to get it together. When I was in middle school my bus drivers would almost always drive like maniacs. Flying down small streets and making quick turns, we would bounce up and down on the seats! It was so fun to us back then because we didn’t realize the danger we could have been in. We got into an accident one morning when the bus driver backed up into a electricity pole. The damage was thankfully minor but parents really don’t understand how many bus drivers are honestly unqualified to drive a freaking school bus!

My mum was once coming home from a shop,and this polish man was speeding like 150mph down through traffic on the wrong side of the road he was swerving and all that stuff,my mum followed him and beeped him off the road and went over there opened the door and grabbed the keys and put them in her bag she then said ‘NO MORE DRIVING’ and he understood a little bit of English and he was like ‘no more drive okay’ and I went over and stood beside her and diled 999 and the police came and said we were very brave because he could have had a gun or knives or anything that’s can kill or injure you
