Congratulations Russ on your wheat crop! Our wheat in this area is having a rough time getting test weight over 55 with all the rain we had in may.. I had a field of cereal rye never made a head and I spent a bunch on it so I get your idea on not spending a lot on your wheat!
@Thomasfarmstn4 ай бұрын
I spend enough. I shoot for 80-90 bushel. Last year was my year for low test weight. I’m just happy with what the good Lord blessed me with.

Hello, Russ! Fine looking wheat with lots of kernels but the excessive late rain damaged the specific weight!

I think the excessive rain and doubling over the nitrogen in places hurt the yield.
