New Holland CR11! With a 50ft (15.2m) Flex header, this combine harvester not only allows for quick harvesting but also ensures the quality of the grain. The modern design and advanced technology of the CR11 optimize work efficiency, while its capability to handle large volumes of wheat saves time and effort. It’s amazing to see how technology is improving agricultural processes, and this machine is definitely one of the 'stars' in the harvesting industry! Thank you for sharing the video! 👏🌾

I would love to know what weight is in the unloading arm when its full! That is bound to weaken over time
@jamesbarbour84003 ай бұрын
I often wonder that too, particularly the pivot point for the auger, on the main body of the machine. Don't know the diameter of the unloading auger on this CR 11, but on AGCO's largest Ideals, it's about 12" in diameter - must be an insane amount of leverage, given the wieght in it when unloading ! Gotta say that the sieve area on this machine is enormous - hardly surprising I suppose, given that it has to deal with the output of two rotors.

"This New Holland CR11 combine is certainly impressive-cutting-edge technology with powerful automation, outstanding capacity, and efficient crop handling. However, with such a significant upfront investment, a key question is: how many years would it take for smaller farms to break even, especially given the often unpredictable and not-so-high commodity prices? The cost-effectiveness for small to medium-scale farms is still debatable, particularly considering the potential maintenance and operational costs associated with such an advanced machine. Is the CR11 truly a practical fit for small and mid-sized farms, or will it mainly shine in large-scale operations with high production needs and robust financial backing? Careful consideration of both farm scale and financial resources is essential before making a commitment. With standout features like IntelliSense and automated control systems, the CR11 is indeed a machine to marvel at-but the investment versus return equation is something each farmer needs to assess individually!"

A wee ? Could they not have the same size of drum instead of 50 ft why not 40ft and go a bit faster? Could cut down problems with the header. I remember an uncle of mine bought a new combine with an 8 ft cut 1960 was an agricultural contractor, a farmer who had also bought a new combine, same make with a 10 ft cut said he thought he was a bit silly. My uncles, opinion was both had the same size of drums, and he would be able to get through gates more easily, remember this was 1960. Was a nightmare getting the 10:foot header off and back on again.

I would imagine you would have to put an awful lot of acreage through that machine to make it cost effective, it's a massive investment to have standing in a barn only to use it for two months in the year but what a beauty.
@Mort2213 ай бұрын
A 50ft (15.2m) header in the UK? That's HUGE. I'd love to see that on the road but I can only imagine that needed some form of special permit for the journeys given a regular truck trailer is about 13.3m and it overlaps the truck itself with the fifth wheel. The header trailer must be nearly 18m long with the drawbar on it.
@runkkari78683 ай бұрын
With UK yields, that header is a bit overkill. Narrower header is probably more practical both on the road and field.
@surlyogre14763 ай бұрын
In the USA, a header like that would be put on a special trailer (sideways, er... lengthwise?) and towed by the combine itself, or a pickup truck, to the next field.
@colincampbell36792 ай бұрын
My Favorite Brand.. and the worlds biggest Combine too! That header is amazing. I see it bends at the ends until it lay's on the ground? Be so good if they can have a Electric powered Combine instead of Diesel sometime in the future. Be so much better noise wise and no pollution either. Plus the chances are they will soon have robotic combines and tractors doing the job with no humans doing it. Just the farmer on his computer telling the machines where and what he or she needs them to go do? With less people wishing to do farming work it makes sense for the robots to do the heavy hard long days so we get our foods. The electricity for the robotic farming machines be free from the wind and sun all stored in big batteries so the costs of fuel be gone and the farms will have that too.
