This helps a lot. Especially given that I haven't bought dishes for my apartment and I'm not a fan of having glass dishes TBH and it's an apartment with only 2 people (me and my lady) so this works perfect for me. Especially when dish sets are so expensive.

My experience with wheat straw is that if you put grease on the dishes,it NEVER washes off. Deal breaker for me. If you don't use oil you're good. Just ordered a bpa free plastic set.

Super pretty colors. We use melamine plates too especially in the nice weather when you want to sit outside. I do have a Corelle Christmas pattern I use in Nov-Dec or Jan, but then switch to my Mickey Mouse melamine plates. When the kids were growing up, I had snack plates and dishes for every month/season/holiday. I love dishes about as much as stickers!

Hi, can you tell me if they include pp material along with wheat straw. Please let me know. In india i found the same set, but it says it contains wheat straw and polypropylene. I know pp is safe, and it mentions that it is BPA free. Just wondering if its the same product

They do not cut through the plates, but they do leave marks on the plates.

I'm having problems getting grease off mine. I've put straight dish soap on them and the grease won't come off. I'm going back to porcelain or Corelle.

@@Adeline9418 really. I wonder if you got a different batch number that may have some issues. I have no trouble with grease. I would contact the company and have them send a new batch that are coated well. They should make it right.

They hold up absolutely great. Not hard to clean at all. I've been very impressed.

We actually are still using them and are still loving them! They are a bit lightly stained from so much use, but we don't mind that.
