Man I am happy these guys are still touring around, banging this song out. It was a fantastic song in it's day, it encompassed all the teen angst of the era, and while it may be lost on the youngest of us, the ethos remains, so I hope more people enjoy it for what it's worth.

Since this pertains to SINGING and not speaking, the process is different in the diaphragm. People who can reach higher notes tend to have higher speaking voice tones. Just common knowledge.

I remember being 19 and dancing with my 2 year old son and singing Dirtbag the feelings I got when I listened to that song I still get to this day. Music is not the same. I wish I was still in 90s and early 2000s and now I get to repeat dancing and singing to good music with my 2 year old grandson. Much love Brendan

I think it's pretty funny; they still censor the "Gun to school line" but more importantly, they gave the song's master copy to SONY, but never got back before splitting with the label. After loosing 10 years of capital, the band came back together in 2020 to re-record as best they could, and it was so close, they got Copyright Claimed by SONY on release!
