Great video. Right to the point with all the details I needed to repair a granite I just purchased. I watched 5 videos before I found yours. All they did was plug their own stuff and talk about unrelated stuff so I couldn't stand watching until they got to the point. Thank you for the information.

Which repair tools do I need in general for the granite 4x4?

The hex bit to get wheels off. A 1.5, 2, and 2.5mm Allen wrench should get you pretty much everything else. May need a 3 in spots. Never hurts to have some needle nose pliers and a flathead/Phillips screwdriver too.

Have you vented those tires? I can't remember if they vented those from the factory or not. You may have had a bearing failure that caused this. Definitely need to loctite everyone of them. Great video. Great info. Good job.

I have not vented these, bearing may have failed, it was completely broken apart!

How long did you use the rc before the wheela fell off? I just got a granite i think i will put locktite before it happens

I bought all new metal axles. The old shafts come apart and the wheel comes off with the tire attached.

Is it a 2mm hex?

Just replace with metal. This is a known issue
