The man that used to work on my 96 416h said to make sure you keep the gasket that goes around the oil filter. It is the reason that front cylinder fails. It routes the air around that cylinder instead of out around the oil filter. With a toro filter I have to add a rubberband to keep it in place.

They are solid garden tractors for sure! We have a snow plow, mower deck, and power flow bagger for ours. It doesn't get used a whole lot anymore though because we bought a zero turn years ago lol

Tell ya what. I totally hate and DESPISE those zero turn radius mowers. All they look like is a go cart with a mower deck. And they also are as far as I'm concerned are extremely dangerous to operate. There has been reports of people who have gotten killed on them. Ralph Nader, whare are you when we need you? These zero turn radius mowers should be banned and outlawed.

Hope you might be able to help me. I have a 520-H. I got on and tried to start it and nothing. No dash lights, not solonoid click, nothing. I checked the battery and it was old so I bought a new one. Same thing. I looked at the fuse box and it was covered in dirt and grass. I cleaned them off, brushed the fuses off, and blowed out all the contacts and added some contact cleaner. WOW, it started right up. I mowed a few rounds and my deck belt broke, so I replaced it, started the tractor and before I even moved, it died, and the same thing happened. Turn the key and nothing, no lights, no clicking or anything. Do you have any suggestions I might try to fix this. Thanks in advance!
