I'm not a collector of wheel horse but the xi serious is the best. I have owned mine for 23 years and don't see no end in sight. I have considered buying a second one to put a loader on for quite some time. But I believe, because of social media and the exposure the price of them has been driven up by that dramatically. Kind of the same way the price of vintage cars was by reality shows. People have decided they're setting on a pot of gold. A good deal is 100% harder to find now. Still possible but much harder. It's that way for so many things.

I like the new wheel horse . My Uncle Herb was a wheel horse traveling sales man for 30 years . He was based out of Louisville KY .

Welcome to the Wheel Horse Owner’s world!! I’ve got 3 WH 520Hs & 1 312 8. I’ve got a lot of the attachments but not a from end loader. My thought on getting them was to not have to change implements.

I use that front end loader almost every day, I’m not sure how I would do without it, I think my back just feels better, ha ha

After the 5XI series ended, New Holland started making the GT18 GT20 GT22 they were the same tractor but one Wheel Horse red and one New Holland blue. All the parts were the same and attachments can still be used on either one.. I was going to get the Wheel Horse but something else in life came along and after that was over, I went to get one but they no longer is sale them. Just down the road was a New Holland dealer, so I went to see a GT18 in the showroom and asked about it and got it in 2002 (I have the brochure on the 5XI) lol. Later about a year I got the front push blade and two stage snowblower and the rear weight bow attachments. Just for someone to know if they need parts…

I have 520xi, 522xi and 520Lxi. I like the power steering on the last two. I’ll probably sell the 520xi once I fix the fire damage to the 520Lxi.

Just scored 2 Craftsman the older ones both have sleeve hitches I gonna put electric power steering.

I have a few of the older Craftsman as well, and I’ve had several of the sleeve hitches. I’ve never tried to put power steering on one of those, but I do have electric lift on a few of the Craftsman I have videos on those as well Good luck with your project.

@@MurphyMower I been looking at a few installs using the steering out of a hurt the little they truck and there are a host of them that do it on you tube but you could most likely put one on you tractor with the front loader. seen a few different one on eBay they go from 70 to 150 but you have to get the ones withe the I guess you would call it the brain box. Might be some you would be interested in seeing.
