Sir, What about the Dynamic weight transfer during braking condition?
@saikarthikeya44637 жыл бұрын
Sir.. Why didn't you consider the dynamic load transfer and deceleration causing the transfer?. Thank you.

What is the formula that you have used to calculate the peak braking force?
@asifmr61396 жыл бұрын
can u explain the calculation of that peak braking force
@vimalyadav75189 жыл бұрын
in the last example you have considered about the static condition i.e rear axle has load of 160 kg but in actual practice when the braking start the load will start to get transfer from rear to front, in that condition , i dont think the above method will work, so what to do??
@tinsiracecars3009 жыл бұрын
+Vimal Yadav You are right. While braking you may have the opposite weight distribution. However our intention was to show the peak braking force of the tyre at the highest load. If that is at the front, then, you will have to apply enough brake force to lock the front wheels and since the peak brake force at the rear will be less than that on the front, the rear wheels will certainly lock. Hope you can relate to it now. Please post if you have any more queries.

sir, how can we know the peak force that a tyre can take for a particular vertical load? Do we need any specs sheet about the tyre?
@tinsiracecars3008 жыл бұрын
Yes. You need tyre data. Tyre data for any racing tyre can be obtained from the tyre manufacturer, or you can get a tyre tested and obtain the tyre data for the same. However getting a tyre tested is an expensive process, as you will have to waste a tyre and also pay for the testing expenses.

Sir, once required braking force is applied at the wheel, is the locking process instanteneous? How much time does it take to lock?

SIR , how you get the peak braking force as 1200N , is it mu*N?
@yashSrivastava7126 жыл бұрын
Peak braking force can be obtained from tyre data. Its the property of tyre. It is the max braking force that a tyre can take at any particular vertical load and slip ratio.
