Yes, this is accurate. 17mm for the 12x1.5 lugs and 19mm for the 14x1.5 lugs. Those lugs were designed as Small Diameter lug nuts for tuner wheels that had a tiny hole for yhe wheel stud. They were never intended to be used as a wheel lock. The same company that sells those lugs also sell actual wheel locks with a coded key. My opinion is that wheel locks often lock out the owner of the wheels more than it does the thieves. I used to charge $25.00 per lock to remove if you lost your key. Nobody has ever replaced a wheel lock I removed, with another lock. They always put a stock lug back on.

When the guy was holding a 3/4 inch impact socket and said it was a 3/8 impact socket should tell you this will fail miserably. In the guys defense though he may have been referring to the drive size for his 3/4 socket. The socket looks like a 1/2 inch drive to me but looking at it on camera I cant say definitively that its a 1/2 inch drive. But if you are trying to extract a wheel lock without the key to match the lock pattern. Best way is a turbo/extractor socket. Your going to need some power also. 3/8 drive probably wont cut the mustard. Cornwell Turbo Lug lock removal sockets are the best way to go if you lost your wheel lock key.
