It’s stupid on so many levels. “Right” is 5 letters when the first word has only 4, the “t” was already revealed which would’ve been the last letter in “right” and both of the last letters in “butt,” the show would’ve been taken off the air using that phrase if it can even be considered a phrase…just countless reasons. Lol.

To be fair this was actually in the toss up round. If you don't know the toss up round is a quick round when letters randomly appear one at a time until someone guesses the phrase. All the squares with the same letter aren't revealed at the same time like in the main game. So it makes sense why the t's weren't all there yet. But was still a dumb guess.

This is old news, literally from a year ago, Sajak announced that he'd be retiring as host of Wheel of Fortune in June 2023 after hosting the show since 1981. A month later, it was announced that Seacrest would take over
