There have only been 3 people to win 1 million in the 30 years the show has been on air.

In order to win the million. You have to land on it and get the letter right to get the wedge. Once u have the wedge, you have to make it to the bonus round without going bankrupt. In the bonus round one of the cards in the small wheel that normally has 100,000 on it is replaced with the 1 million dollars. You have to land on that card and solve the bonus puzzle to win it.
