I thought this was a long gone and disliked thing, but then I saw some big names using it on their SNL performances (performances which were rough and got a lot of hate on social media.) I mean I faintly remember one guy used it nearly the entire song! And it didn’t sound well. It can be used in certain situations but I wonder if sometimes they do it purposely to get people talking on social media. Using negative attention for free publicity has become it’s own art form, just see Kanye West’s recent SNL performance and publicity stunts...
