Wheel Stand Pro actually make 3 different versions of the stand
1) V1 - the smaller version I showed in this video which they sell now only for Microsoft wireless wheels.
2) V2 - slightly shorter base than what is seen here but just as robust, used for smaller wheels like the Logitech Driving Force GT and Thrustmaster T80, T100 F458, F430.
3) V2 Deluxe - featured in this video and for wheels with stronger force feedback such as the Logitech G25/27 and Thrustmaster T300RS, T500RS.
However if you are at all confused about which stand you need check the website and contact them once you know the steering wheel you need the stand for.

So now after about a year of using it with a Logitech DFGT I've now upgraded to the Thrustmaster T300RS GT Edition, and the wheel doesn't fit, I can't hard mound it but also the wheel plate is too small to clamp it onto... I've now modified it by bolting an extra plank of wood into it and then clamping my wheel to that, but the clamp doesn't work very good and my wheel keeps sliding away, I'll probably have to drill holes in the plank of wood to hard mound it but I thought the wheel stand pro deluxe V2 was compatible with all wheels, but apparently mine is not.

***** The wheel is a pretty entry level wheel and the gear stick is just a sequential shifter, not H pattern. It's all about price. This is an entry level wheel - wheels with clutch pedals and a proper gear stick cost more. I didn't even use the gear stick on this wheel

Impressive and excellent review, thanks! I'd love to get one of these but my problem is the configuration of my mancave. I'd be sitting, semi-reclined, on a very soft couch. I have a wheel, but not the pedals, and it's a PITA to accelerate/brake/shift. Also, I'm waiting for something to come out for the PS4.

Awesome stand, I got my recently and it is fantastic. Especially for Thrustmaster servo bases, their stock mounting mechanism is a bad joke! It could be 10cm higher though.

You can't use the brake mod on the Thrustmaster 3 pedal set if you mount it like they suggest. You have to be creative to get it mounted but it isn't hard to figure out.

£85 isn't half bad if you don't have a TIG welder to be fair. I'd rather knock up my own unit built to my own size out of some stainless and throw in one of my spare Porsche 928 Tombstone seats but it all boils down to space. Which i don't have!

Sorry if this question seems naive, but regarding the foot pedals you mounted on the WS Pro, was that a complete pedal assembly from another source, or does the WS Pro come with a mounting "plate" that the pedal assembly mounts to? I'm thinking only the parallel tubes w/ rubber rings are provided. No plate, ect.?

Good info. You've mentioned you're getting the T300, have you tried fitting it on the older Wheel Stand Pro? I also got the older one and I was curious if the holes on the black plate (to fix the wheel base) is in line with the screw holes of the T300 (which I'm planning to buy). TA.

Does it wobble around when youre doing some vigorous cornering and when a wheel like the G25 I own vibrates? I feel like it would cause it just looks a bit unstable and bare.

No it doesn't, it's actually very stable. Even the old one I had with max force feedback was fine. The only issue I had with the old one was that sometimes you could pull it down and the pedals would come off the floor, but this is completely fixed with the newer version I show here due to the longer, and heavier, base.

Looks good apart from the angle of the pedals. Pedals push forward not down... Only my thoughts but as real driver it just never feels right. It's like all the work goings into the wheel manufacturer.

Have just ordered Thrustmaster TX Ferrari 458 Italia (Xbox One) racing wheel + Wheel Stand Pro V2. A question: my TV + Xbox One are about 5 metres from my chair, the nearest plug in socket is about 4 metres. Will I have enough cabling or will I have to buy an extender? Please advise!!

Just found your interesting review of this Racing Stand, sound/looks like a Winner, and you were using the same Wheel that I am using and it won't even Clamp on my 'puter table, so that tells you why I was reading your review...either buy and stand or get rid of this wheel that I can't use as things no sit. Anyway, I went to the Co. Site, and for this Wheel, Driving Force GT, they ONLY recommend the 1st one you bought, the VT Model and they do not recommend any of the Deluxe VT Models for your/my Wheel. I live in the US, lowest Price is direct fm Poland at $155 but they WARN you that you may have to pay Custom Charges [that SCARES me off fm ordering from them]. It appears you are loving "our" Wheel on their Deuxe - which one did yoou buyy? TKS

There are some cheap alternatives out there these days such as Thrustmaster T100 or Logitech Driving Force GT. Have a search on amazon is probably your best bet. Only thrustmaster wheels work with PS4 though

Hi Broughy, I'm looking into buying one used for my G27. I was wondering how I can easily spot the difference between a V1, V2 and V2 Deluxe without having them side by side? Does the box indicate it is a V2, or V2 Deluxe model? Is there actually a V2 model for the G27 or is the V2 Deluxe the only model for G27? Thanks!

I believe it says it on the box. I really don't know about your other questions as I've never had a g27 so don't know what's required for it. Their website will better inform you.

Yes it's very sturdy (as long as you buy the deluxe model which is meant for the wheel you're using). Your other question is best answered by them or having a look on their website. Links in description.
