Great episode and glad you guys are back! Also stoked to have my question read out!

Great to have this back again. With all the wheel talk, I was surprised to not have a mention of 24" comp style bikes. I still rock my Echo 24" MK2 I've had since 2012. I also snagged a Neon Wing 24" last year which is also a blast. I know there's no 24" comp bike makers out there right now, but I still think this is one of the most underappreciated bike options out there.

Totally agree! MattyP has a 24” comp bike himself. If they were more accessible, I think more people would ride them. So hard to get good quality parts. I’m sure he would ride one of the option was there.

I’ve been waiting for Charlie to start 26. Nice to hear it’s going well for him!

Surely the 'best' bike (i.e wheel size, length, geometry) for comp trials is largely dictated by the obstacles as well as rider size/height? If riders are regularly cleaning stages then I expect they'll change it up to make them more difficult and then the bikes will adapt, rinse and repeat...

You make a great point. Years ago the bikes couldn’t hook like they can now, and now everything is ‘hooks’ haha. Let’s see what happens in the coming years. Don’t forget you can join our membership program if you want exclusive and early access to our podcasts

Where are these tutorial videos Charlie mentions? 🤔
