I can agree that Wheel simply add more randomness to the game (which means it much worse compared to card) and buffed going late probably a bit too much.

Some people like it over card because it forces new ideas (but you could always do those ideas, but just chose not to (except panda/mech/human/druid/ud)) and because of the free 5-cost copy. I think both of those DO allow for exciting moments and CAN be exciting, yes, but overall I feel like the addition adds a random element that I really do not like - IO + wheel on 20 + some random strong 5-cost (Arc, Sven, Warlock, Troll, etc.) just feels a bit dumb I think. It is what it is. Maybe they change it next season.
