There are faster, more efficient ways to assemble a wheelbarrow. Despite being fast, he's making this physically harder than it needs to be
@asmassembly86033 жыл бұрын
Hi all, Despite the comments, I do keep up this pace for an entire shift. Just ask anyone who works with me. I have been at this for 18 years and I simply have done this so many times that I can assemble these items quickly. You do not have to be this fast by any means. But the job pays by the piece and I tend to maximize my income potential when assembling. No wheelbarrows were harmed during the recording of this video.

So I was sent here from indeed. How much would I get payed per piece ? The fact it’s not hourly kinda confuses me

Quick couple of questions, what size nuts are on this wheelbarrow? And do most of the wheelbarrows have the same size??
@builder_for_life44902 жыл бұрын
The Question is will he be able to build 4 Pallets of Wheel Barrows (24pcs, 18pcs, 26pcs and 14pcs) and 6 Pallets of Husky 46" Tool Cabinet in one day, plus some will calls of Barbeque Grills?? Will he be able to withstand 10 to 12 Hour long standing shift??
@builder_for_life44902 жыл бұрын
@@Gagaganerd it's paid by pieces, piece work. I used to work from the company name Advantage solution but I moved to another company that builds/Assemble stuffs for Lowe's and Menard's. The only time I build stuffs for home Depot is their Sheds for displays in their lot, deck Flatform for their Sheds and I'm building Christmas Tree lots for Home Depot. I also built/Assembled some Machines for Walmart too.
@builder_for_life44902 жыл бұрын
@@Gagaganerd hourly? No it's not. It is by piece work. If you don't waste time and you get faster assembling items you will be surprised that you will get more than the Hourly pay. You have to maintain your daily invoice at least $400 to $450 a day. Some Assemblers/Builders can make $700 to $800 a day and they can cover 2 to 3 stores a day

So much unnecessary movement in his technique. You can build the wheel barrow on your table without even having to move all over the place by just stacking the two wheelbarrows on top of each other and have the bottom shell hold the bolts for you lol
@Bfrank23326 жыл бұрын
And then we build the next 40 at normal speed cause nobody is gonna do that all day lol.
@masahachi90388 жыл бұрын
Why not stack the wheelbarrow shells and pin the bolts between the metal. You can accomplish the same time at a relaxing pace and with one drill.
