Ahahaha you were talking about how they flooded the canal instead of locking 15 boats at one time. They figured out a month prior when the high school series fished just how much of a pain that would be we sat to lock through for a good 2 hours😂😂

Really not liking the new format. It now seems that luck outweighs skill . As MDJ says, not much going on, then three big ones in a row. I am a great proponent of the every fish over a set weight counts. Not to mention putting all those referees that used to accompany anglers out of work. No fish landing violations when fish are bounced off the deck, as pretty as that deck may be, can't be good for fish welfare, also fish are not returned where they were caught. I miss the score tracker. It added tension to the viewing, I remember willing fish onto your hook when it was close, in the finishing period of the championship round. Nice to see the DINK! again. Knew you would do well no matter how many hurdles you have to traverse. Good job JW.

I like the old format much better. Not only was it more fun to watch, but better for the fish. MLF must not care about bass conservation anymore. Old format almost no mortality rate. With weigh-ins that goes up. And now guys are allowed to boat flip the fish, letting them smash down on the boat deck (not saying you). And the taking spawning bass off beds is never a good thing.

None of that is true. This isn’t a Bass Pro Tour tournament. This is an Invitational tournament which has too many competitors for a Marshall in every boat to weigh fish. The bass pro tour still has catch weigh and release and still has fish landing violations.

@@Twangtown7 no sir. MLF is the organization that BPT, the invitationals and the Toyota series operate under. BPT is the top tier catch weigh release that you’re thinking of. This tournament is the invitationals, formerly the pro circuit, and they have never had officials in their boats.

1986, 4th of July weekend, Dixie Co. Florida. Caught 2, 10 pounders out of the same 4ft, hydrilla hole, in 20 minutes. Only 10's I have ever caught. Was with a fellow Marine Earl Hodge. In that Bass Tracker 1. I also served with a Marine, An artist, as well as an aviation Marine , in Cherry Point, that painted my flightline ears for me, while we were in the corps. He lives somewhere on that lake, and goes by Gator. Wish I could fish with him. We served together in the early 80's, if he sees this. LOL
