this was GREAT!!! thanks for doing this, keep em coming! some questions and observations: why doesnt Wheeler have his humminbird units linked to share waypoints? I didnt know Ott was such a cranking guru. was shocked at the amount of time BP and Carl spent fishing down stream/with the current. Carl was reeling his crankbait WAY slower than everyone else. Typical Wheeler always with an ace up his sleeve=suspend strips.

Your Chat got into the age old question whats better $1000 combo or best bang for you buck? and seen someone say its senseless to spend 1000$ on a combo when you can buy multi set ups for different things for good price. all that is true but the Point is i have a set up i love that was $980.00 and i love it i also have a combo that was $190.00 that i love also have a spinning set up for $150.00 that is best finesse set up i have ever owned none are combo's tech i combo my own stuff to my preference..Best advice is 2 parts for people who ask questions for 1 never say you have no limit unless you truly have no price range 2. dont limit your self to price ranges always try different things that you think you may like in your price range you will know what you like when you find it may take time for some thing and maybe daym near instant when you try a set up.. Also im the type i use a different set up for every style of fishing i tend to not use all around set ups i like to get set ups that speacialize in 1 or 2 styles so some times my boat have 6 set ups on deck other times i may have 12-13 all depends on location weather and styles i feel will work..When picking out a all around rod most of the time you all purpose combos will be a little cheaper and your speacialized set ups tend to run a bit more price wise .. so when asking give as much info for what your looking for as you can because you want what will work for your True need!!!

I know Wheeler is a bad ass, but I’m curious as to how these tourneys would go without front facing sonars. I remember Ott saying he likes to shut his off due to the beeping sound bouncing off the objects . They should do 1 without using it..
