I remember when I was a kid my dad made me a set of wheelie bars for the back of my Yamaha 175 2 stroke 3 wheeler. He made it out of angle iron and shopping cart wheels and an old suzuki rear shock. The shock pressed in and made it softer when the shopping cart wheels hit the ground. Lol. Memories. Great vid man! Cheers!

Very interesting. A nice quick easy hassle free way to learn to wheelie. My first thoughts are, however, that one could probably make one out of hardwood with a pivot bearing and instead of a wheel at the back just shape the wood like a skid. One could even use steel. I'd probably buy one though on the grounds that it is tried and tested.

Adjust the cable more as you start feeling more comfortable so you can come up more before it uses the rear brake. Its a awesome idea and I like the ease of taking it on and off.

This is a cool idea. Be a good trainer. I always seemed to be able to wheelie naturally. Never had to try to learn. Although I started when I was 10 and wasn't afraid to hit ground.

Does it come with a tampon? LOL, just kidding, cracked my tailbone in the mid 80's riding wheelies down a gravel road on my 84 RM 500, never cared much about wheelies ever since, now I only do them when it's needed to clear terrain. Great vids, keep up the good work young man.

Completely natural reaction for people first learning wheelies. Try to squeeze your ankles against the frame to keep you from doing that and do short distance wheelies not close to the balance point to get used to the rear brake.
