Wheelock 7002T-24's Sounding Off

Was doing some work at one of our schools when the fire alarms started going off, the beautiful sound of Wheelock 7002T-24's. The electronic horns heard in the background are a Wheelock NS in the hallway, and a Wheelock Exceder in the cafeteria. Unfortunately the entire fire alarm system in this school is scheduled to get replaced this summer, but we are helping out with the upgrade so I will make sure to save all of these devices.

Yeah bc they’re mechanical horns and they’re also EXTREMELY loud. Yeah it may seem like the higher pitched alarms like Wheelock MTs and ZNSs are louder but they’re really not as they’re just easier to hear

imo these arent that loud, i did an inspection with 7001ts at a multifamily home and i didnt need to use my hearing protection, i mean... that mightve just been me but idk. @@SirensAndAlarmsOfNorthernIL

My school has these and we had a drill on 11/17/23 and they were SUPER loud. STudents covering thier ears. Not me though because I have heard these too many times.

Man lemme tell u, my 7002T is so loud that even I have to cover my ears while I am in the same room with it as it’s going off and I can almost feel it in my body. They’re even louder than SpectrAlert Advances to me

@@SirensAndAlarmsOfNorthernIL We actually had a natural gas smell issue last school year. All good though it was a place that makes the smell! WE had to hear these for 30mins!!! Also tha SpectraAlert Advances in the background!

There are 2 system sensor classics on the other side of the building, the electronic horns you're hearing are a Wheelock NS and a Wheelock Exceder. The panel is an FCI FC-72.
