Usually it is not much different, just check the quantity and oil specification to suit your scooter.

When it come to scooter, the rear gearing parts is sometimes called transmission. So the term gear oil or transmission oil use in this case is referring to same item.

I put until overflow or just I tube that they normally sell is enough.
