My two liners is the myfit prime liners and the rollerblade blank liner. I love their two fits. I was sooo surprised by the blank liner diamond in the rough for sure

Il say this about white skates, they really work well if you film a bunch at night or on darker days , the dark coloured skates can get a bit lost in the background. Perfect for those long Scottish winters.
@wheelsceneblading11 ай бұрын
That is a valid point!

Agree with the cuff comments. The cuff is low and has little forward flex support. There is no forward flex resistance. So if your preference is for some forward flex rebound look elsewhere.

Agreed with everything you said. They need to revise that shell and stop making more crofts skates until they fix all this. Frames, souls and forward flex or cuff. My lomax greys have that issue too I can't tighten them up that much or when I do the cuff starts twisting.

I know there are definitely plans to make changes. One thing about Powerslide is they are always coming up with new ideas and always refining their products, it's very commendable.

That's a great skate review and your opinions on the Aeon mirror mine almost to the letter. I had the Grayeons for about 8 months...they are good but not for me. That cuff is a real problem and the material is just too slow on grinds.

Out of curiosity mate have you ever skated the sola street frame if so thoughts? The H block looks quite shallow
@wheelsceneblading11 ай бұрын
I haven’t. I tried the GC aluminium but they weirdly slid really badly on both coping and rails at Unit 23 Skatepark after I got them for the winter skatepark season, so I got rid of them. I’m not sure how compatible aluminium frames are with the type of skating I like to do. Scottish ledges are pretty rough.

Are the liners the same as the Witze liner with the improvements he made to the previous Prime. Apart from colour of course
@longtermsquatter11 ай бұрын
I don't see how they are different. The after market Sam croft liner may come with upgraded footbeds compared to the witze liner. However, i think Sam explained that there was confusion at the factory and the improved footbeds weren't included.

Great Review, However I feel it needs pointing out that USD still have the sizing wrong on the AEON. You say you're a size 10 running the 9-9.5, but the euro size equivalent of 10 is 44.. which if you'll notice is what he 9-9.5 is labelled (43-44). lovely looking skate. personally I prefer the old cuff, better fitting and support.
@wheelsceneblading11 ай бұрын
I would argue that's less USD being wrong about the sizing and instead the sizing system being flawed in general. They don't claim it to be a specific size, instead they say it fits a range of sizes from 9-9.5, which it does. Also, the difference between a size 9.5-10UK is minimal. Foot shape definitely plays an equally important role to length when it comes to fitting in certain skates.
@JustAnotherBlader11 ай бұрын
What was your foot size again? 275?

Fairly sure the gap at the back of the cuff is because the first skate that had that cuff was the Crofty 2s which were the first skinned Aeons. I think the skin fills the gap on that skate and feels weird on the plain plastic ones.
@longtermsquatter11 ай бұрын
The skin doesnt come close to filling that gap. The aeon share the cuff with other powerslide skates such as the swell. So it's a case of powerslide reusing molds across skates, but the part not quite fitting.
@stubear11 ай бұрын
@@longtermsquatter True. It fits even worse on the swell too
