LSU Baseball and South Carolina Baseball played the second game of their 3 game series in the 2023 College Baseball Season.

Last night's game would have been close if we didn't keep walking and hitting batters and today's game wouldn't have been as close. Granted they walked a few batters too. In baseball there is no such thing as winning every game you play. There are hundreds of data points that go into evaluating the strength of a baseball team. Sometimes bad teams beat good teams but one bad game doesn't really change much. Do you know LSU's team on base percentage? Or their team batting average? Now if consecutive losses or a sweep happens you could see LSU fall from the #1 ranking. But don't count on it.
