Win or lose in the cfp im finally happy with an end to the season as a Wolverines fan. They established an identity and, with the exception of the MSU game, a bit of consistency. Fairly mistake free QB play. They finally feel like they matched their production to their potential instead of flaming out at the end of the year like they have so far under Harbaugh. Proof that this team can finally win those big games that have eluded them over the past few years. I could’ve cried from pure elation after the final whistle in this game. Plus the end of this season will have to be great for recruiting in the future because Harbaugh finally got the Ohio State sized chip off his shoulder. Hopefully those kids who were/will be on the fence will see this success and help contribute to it in the future. I think Harbaugh HAD to have this kind of season this year or his future would’ve been very shaky. I’m just glad to be rewarded for sticking with this team and getting to see them reestablish themselves as real competitors.

Iowa fan here. This was easily the most pathetic game I have ever seen. Iowa was never expected to win this game, and absolutely nobody talked about them. They only made it here through a couple of scrappy games they weren’t meant to win. This game was their chance to prove that they were a legitimately good team. Instead of putting up a fight, Ferentz’s coaching let out a whimper. Hats off to Michigan for nuking a baby. Iowa will forever be ignored until Ferentz changes the way they play, and I doubt that will happen anytime soon.

UM fan here and I agree, Ferentz has to change philosophies because I think the players and the toughness is there. I wasn’t comfortable until way late in the second half. This game scared me a week ago and I think the coaching “mindset” is what did them in.

Is it just me.., or have our TEs and WRS been making some crazy sweet catches the last few games ? Not really one guy dominating a whole game but it seems there’s at least two random catches from different receivers every game that are one handed , or diving , high pointing etc etc . Love that! Iowa fan here. Absolutely anyone with half a brain knew we weren't winning this from the very beginning. We were given scrub teams almost all year and our defense felt like it fell down half way through the season. Our O-line NEVER improved or seemed to get the hint at what they needed to improve on. Brian Ferentz absolutely made a mockery of our team this year and it shows. Petras could barely pass for shit and would either over throw or under throw. Padilla was a nice welcome and change of pace to Petras but it was absolutely embarassing. The fact we were even 10-2 before this was laughable. It's a shame to see a score like this but I hope it's a wake up call to the team to get better. Congrats to Michigan. You guys totally deserve it

This. Michigan has a national following. The committee needs to not worry at all about ratings and be more concerned about whether they want to stink up the CFP matchups and create unnecessary controversy, or just once and for all decide the ALA/GA SEC title game result is a fluke and have them go Rnd 2 right away and let other schools be represented properly. Not a Michigan fan and live in Ohio but hate the buckeyes. Got to visit Ann arbor this year and Ludington. Michigan is beautiful. So much more class and beauty from what I noticed compared to ohio. The lakes are clean and loved being able to buy weed at the dispensary in Ann arbor. The staff was great and I never knew how diverse Michigan was as a school. Enjoyed the food and the museums there. I'm a big psu fan but I'll be a Michigan fan in the playoffs. Michigan gained another fan this year. Even as a Penn state fan I like msu and really any team that beats osu. The fans are always full of themselves. They have been dominant overall and everyone needs haters so I'm a proud osu hater. Thanks for shutting them up finally. It was the refs fault of course if you live in ohio. I'll always pull for my nitty lions but now I'm in love with the great state of Michigan. Hat's off my Michigan brothers and sisters and I'll be back. Michigan may just be the place I want to raise a family. It was nice to be able to drink and shower with clean water in Ludington .
