Class act bud, we finally beat you guys and it was a great game, could have gone either way for sure. Wish I could have actually been able to watch it without paying for a subscription. Watching these highlights it seems to me the cougs defense played very well. All the huskies could manage was two field goals with 9 minutes left in the third quarter? When they had that penalty on 4th and 6, should they have just gone for it on 4th and 11? with time running out?

Keystone stat: Washington had 16 penalties for 135 yards, compared to Wazzu's 6 for 45 yards. Pair that with one of the worst play calls I've ever seen on 4th and goal, and it's no wonder Washington lost this game. That said, from a Husky to the Cougs, y'all are underrated. And with your schedule, I think you got a legit shot the Playoffs. I don't like the decision to move to the Big 10 (though I understand the reasoning), so go out and shock the world. Long live the Pac-12!

I don't even think the playcall on 4th and Goal was terrible, it just needed to go to the left to give themselves more room to work with. They go from the right and by the time the pitch happened they're already at the sideline pretty much. That or they needed some receiver to bump and run across the field as a last second "flip it over everyone's heads" possibility

Don't get me wrong I'm not down on Coleman but he wasn't getting it done it was the other guy and then they went back to Coleman instead. And then of course they ran that option. That hasn't worked well at Washington since Jake locker and he's been gone a while

@@DarkKnight-yz2wg Yards tell you NOTHING of a quarterbacks ability to scramble. A QB with lots of yards rushing is not always a good thing. It's like a safety who leads the team in tackles. When your safety leads the team in tackles, that's not a good thing. Of course it's good that a QB CAN scramble if needed, but I'd prefer them not have to scramble if possible. Minshew didn't need to scramble that often because he was, generally, well-protected by his offensive line, and he was hitting his receivers with big gains. And he would make his reads and get the ball to someone if his primary receiver was covered. But he could definitely scramble if needed.

Thank you for this, when I saw this game would only be available if you buy a subscription to peacock I was absolutely outraged. This is the first time ever you couldn't watch it on tv, plus the abomination of moving it to sept instead of the last week in November as it has been played since the stone age. They barely lost, while being in a rebuild year, with an entirely new offense/coaching staff, and shooting themselves in the foot with penalties...should've won with a competent play call to take the lead at the end of the game. The Husky defense and their penalties did more for the Cougars than the Cougar's own offense. The Huskies will be fine, just a sloppy game.
