That first TD pass from Ewers may have been the best live throw I’ve seen in a long time. Lobbed a rainbow damn near flat footed 60 yards In the bucket. Played like the QB we thought he was tonight. Great game Alabama best of luck to y’all the rest of the season.

God this is going to be an awesome year of college football. I can see Texas and Alabama playing again. There will be a case for Alabama to make the CFP if their only two losses are Texas and Georgia. I don’t see anyone else that can beat Bama in the SEC other that Georgia this year maybe Tennessee but we will see!

What a tremendous game this was. Both teams played their guts out. I was on the edge of my seat most of the game. Extremely physical and hard hitting game. I was so impressed with Sarks clever play calling and his ability to consistently get favorable matchups. His play-calling always seemed one step ahead. What impressed me most was after bama took the lead and the stadium came alive Texas didn’t flinch. I was disappointed in the penalties and turnovers. At the end of the day all I can do is tip my cap to Texas. They were the better team. As always..Roll Tide! Oh and welcome to the SEC Texas!

As a Buckeyes fan I have to give Texas its props! I've never seen Ewers look as polished as he did tonight. His passes were crisp and he looked razor-sharp. The deep-ball was precise and the decision-making was flawless. The O-line gave him time, while the D-line wreaked havoc on Alabama. Keep that up and the Longhorns will be a tough opponent for anyone.

This is by far the MOST IMPORTANT win Texas has had since their national championship. Casuals wrote them off and said they didn’t have a chance, not even realizing that last years game was extremely close. This is why you give a coach TIME TO BUILD THEIR PROGRAM. Sark has changed the identity of this program and now recruiting, facilities, and fan base will continue to trend UPWARD. I love this for college football as a fan of the sport. This makes me happy

Really came down to busted coverage, no penetration into the backfield, no real trick plays by Bama, and a bunch of TOs by the QB. He's not a rookie, he doesn't have that excuse anymore, and so now Saban will really have to look at him and evaluate him this week and next to see if he's worth keeping in as the starter. He says that Ty Simpson is not ready, I call BULL on that. Ty looked super comfortable in the spring game and decent in practices I've seen. He's just more comfortable with sensing pressure and getting away.

Now the real test begins on how Texas can build off this and respond rest of the season. Yes beating Bama was great but last year they looked good and only lost by one and people thought they can build off that and collapsed mid season. Great win now lets finish the rest of the season.

They'll lose to either LSU or Tennessee IF Milroe is still playing. He should not be starting next week if he throws more than 2 picks. They just got outmaneuver, out hustled, out played, and out-gunned. as well as giving up 7 20+ yard plays. That almost never happened in the peak of Saban Alabama football. Alabama is not the same feared team they once were.

GREAT WIN FOR THE HORNS!!! Ewers, Sanders, Worthington, Worthy, Mitchell, and O line was Amazing!! Last year's game most likely different if Quinn not hurt. Very Nice replies and respect from several Georgia fans and a few others!! MUCH RESPECT for Georgia and Ohio State fans and coaches !! I was confident last year the Longhorns would win and we got our hearts broke. Today, i felt confident again. Even more confident like there was no doubt in my mind we would win. Didn't care that the game was in Bama. We lost by 1 so i knew we could beat Bama. Bama blows out lots of teams at home but we always come ready to play Bama. Thats what history says. We never get embarrassed by Bama. We always keep the fans nervous ( both sides really)😅 Anyway. HOOKEM 🤘!!

Texas played well enough to win last year, the safety not called and Ewers going down were the decisive factors. This year they played even better. Sarkisian is being the HC that did really well with Washington for two, three years before his problems with alcoholism

And what’s crazy is that they’re only getting started. It’s going back to Mack brown era when they were so good year in and year out. Sark has finally got his recruits that he wanted and it’s paying off. When the boosters stay the hell out of it and let the head coach build his team you as the fans get rewarded instead of running him out after two seasons like the other head coaches that they cycle through..

As a diehard Georgia fan i feel so happy for Texas bc it was just the biggest relief after coming up short so many times to Saban to finally beat them is just such an amazing thing to experience. I didnt predict this game but i have been predicting the downfall of Alabama. They set a standard they werent capable of maintaining. This should make even the haters appreciate the fact the Pats were a dynasty for over 20 years that much more amazing. I love football Congratulations Texas.

Makes my heart feel good anytime i see a team demolish Alabama especially at home. Sick and tired of seeing Alabama being able to cruise thru seasons to championships just because they have the most money for recruitment of the top players. The last couple of years have been humbling for Alabama and it's refreshing to see finally.

Xavier Worthy has been Texas' leading receiver since he was a freshman. #5 Adonai Mitchell is a transfer from Georgia where he caught a TD in each of their four playoff games during their two national championship runs. Whittington suffered multiple injuries during his first few seasons that severely limited his ability to take the field. He had the first fully-healthy year this past season.

I'm a miami Hurricane fan so I love this outcome Texas doesn't get enough credit they recruit well every year and got a great coach and staff when you recruit if you can at least get ten or more players out of the espn top 300 you've had a great recruiting year and Alabama Georgia Ohio State get about twenty or more of those recruits which is crazy. But Texas gets about a dozen or more of them I'm not one bit supriissed. Texas Can beat any team in the country I don't know if they will or not but great win for Texas

I’m a 14 year old Alabama fan, and even I know we are not playing “joyless murderball”. Our players have been talkin too much and they haven’t done anything. Texas played perfect football to run out the last eight minutes. Ran the ball, got first downs, forced Alabama to burn all their timeouts, then drew them offsides on the 4th down at the end to finish it. So many teams mess that situation up but they played it as perfectly as it can be done.
